FAME!

When it's party planning time, I search high and low on the internet for inspiring ideas. The Birthday Blog is one of the websites that I scour when I'm on a hunt. One day I was doing a little research and thought, "Hey, SB's party was just as good as these!" DIY Roman Shades Project

     Today, I finally finished the roman shades for my sewing room. For the last 9 years, we've had bamboo matchstick shades on the five large windows in this room. I never really liked them. Our cat chewed on them and they were boring. I've saved this tutorial for at least a year, and the materials have been collecting dust at my house since summer. It took a few days and some handyman work from Adam to finish them, but they look really good. Eventually, I'll probably add something to the top to cover the messiness there, but I'm done for now. I'm all crafted out! Total cost was less than $70 for all five shades. You gotta love a good deal!
